Aurora Mor is a Washington State artist whose travels across the United States and abroad have shaped her creative practice. She draws on the materials she encounters to explore contrasts and connections, creating work that invites others to imagine new possibilities for themselves and the community.

Aurora Mor Ballet draws on classical, contemporary, and world dance, body fitness, visual art, and live performance experience(s). Aurora’s training includes Royal Academy of Dance instruction with Susanne Valencia on Mercer Island, Washington; American Ballet Theatre styles taught by Camille Chrysler, a former Sea Gals dance coach, and Joan Purves in Maryland; Broadway Dance Center in New York, New York; Brazilian dance with Vam'ola in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood; and jazz and hip-hop with Joy of Motion in Maryland.

Her experience extends to acting and interning with Seattle Center’s Repertory Theater, acting with Seattle Shakespeare Theatre Company, improv at Post Alley, atelier modeling at Gage Academy of Art, yoga training with 8 Limbs Yoga and CorePower Yoga, group fitness instruction at LA Fitness, and Zumba programs.

Behind the scenes, Aurora has worked as a production assistant on commercial shoots for Dodge, Safeco Field, Nintendo, and Amazon, helping with craft services, model casting, wardrobe, and on-set logistics. She has also worked as a videographer on independent projects, performed at festivals while traveling, and appeared in a music video.

Aurora Mor Ballet brings structure and creative expression to our local community. Join us for weekly classes that build technique, monthly opportunities to learn ballet choreography, and explorations of ballet and dance traditions from around the world and across America.

We are building a permanent cast of dancers and performers, with opportunities for students to grow into performance roles through our classes. Come dance, grow stronger, and express the beauty you already have. Aurora Mor Ballet will offer structure and creative expression to the local community. Weekly trail classes, Monthly commitments to learn ballet choreography, and the extra things to understand ballet, world and American dance culture! 

We are looking for a permanent cast of dancers and performers. The dancers will be promoted from the classes provided. Come to be beautiful and strong because you are!
